A flood alert has been issued by the Environment Agency.

Flooding is possible for: Low-lying areas on the tidal Camel Estuary including Rock, Little Petherick and Sea Mills
High tides over the next two days may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible over the high tides on the evening of Wednesday 5 November and morning of Thursday 6 November.
Areas particularly at risk include low-lying land, roads and carparks, particularly at Little Petherick. The high tide at Padstow on Wednesday evening is at 16:52 and at 05:12 on Thursday morning. Forecast total high tide level is 4.60mAOD on Wednesday PM and 4.50mAOD on Thursday AM. Expect tide levels along the coast to be up to 0.5m above tide table level. Strong Force 5 south-easterly winds and offshore wave heights of up to 2.3m are forecast over the high tides. Coastal conditions should ease by Thursday PM tide.
